Hair Prep Guide

To best serve you and give you the hair of your dreams, please follow this guide:

1. Wash Your Hair: Wash your hair the morning of your appointment. Ensure your hair has enough time to fully dry naturally, this is especially important if you book early in the day.

2. Cleanse + Condition: Thoroughly cleanse your hair and scalp with shampoo. Moisturize and detangle the length of your hair with conditioner. Feel free to use your hands or a brush, just make sure you’ve detangled as best you can.

3. Hair Condition at Appointment:

   • Hair must be worn down and completely dry. If needed, you can diffuse your hair a little.

   • Leave your hair as bare as possible, with no additional products applied after rinsing out the conditioner. This allows us to accurately assess your hair for a proper haircut or color service.

4. Avoid Altering Your Hair Pattern:

   • Do not pull, wrap, pin, tie, or push your hair down tight.

   • Do not come in wearing braids, twists, or with your hair worn up.

   • Do not come in with unwashed hair.

Important Note: Following this Hair Prep Guide ensures you receive the best possible service. We kindly ask that you follow all instructions to avoid any additional charges and fees for hair preparation during your appointment. This includes, but is not limited to, shampooing, hair drying, and excessive detangling.

If you have booked a Wash + Go with Cici or Mari, take out any braids or twists, we’ll handle the washing and styling for you. Please keep in mind excessive buildup or detangling may incur additional charges.

If you encounter any issues with the Hair Prep process or have questions, please contact us in advance so we can assist you.

Please Note: If our stylists are unable to easily detangle your hair prior to your dry cut, you may not be properly prepped for your appointment. If you do not follow our Hair Prep Guide to the letter, your appointment is subject to cancellation at the stylist’s discretion, and you will be charged in full. No exceptions.
